THE ANCIENT CITY OF GORDION IS LISTED AS A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

The ancient city of Gordion was declared a World Heritage Site with the decision taken today at the 45th UNESCO World Heritage Committee Meeting held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

With the inclusion of the ancient city on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Turkey's number of world heritage sites on the list increased to 20.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this step that will contribute to the tourism of our country and our capital Ankara.
