What is Digital Verification System (DDS)?
As part of TÜRSAB's efforts against unauthorized travel agency activities, Digital Verification System is a program aimed at facilitating the identification of individuals and organizations conducting illegal travel agency activities through their web pages, and allowing consumers to verify whether the travel agency service they wish to receive from a web page is owned by a TÜRSAB registered travel agency. It aims to add value to our member travel agencies and their web-based online sales and marketing channels.
Who can apply to the Digital Verification System?
The opportunity to apply to the Digital Verification System is only available to our member travel agencies.

Warning: In accordance with the relevant regulations, in order for our member travel agencies to benefit from this opportunity, they must declare their online sales and marketing channels in the Travel Agency Information Form and submit the original form to our Association within 10 days. Digital Verification applications for online sales and marketing channels that are not declared in the aforementioned form will not be evaluated.

Can travel agencies with dues outstanding apply for DDS?
The Digital Verification System is evaluated within the framework of the general services offered by the Association to its member travel agencies. Therefore, according to Article 15, paragraph 3 of the Association's Regulation on Travel Agencies, "The right of a travel agency with dues outstanding to benefit from the general services provided by the Association is suspended." For this reason, travel agency applications for DDS will not be processed until the dues obligations are fulfilled.
How Does the Digital Verification Application Process Work?
DDS (Digital Verification System) applications are received and processed through digital channels by the relevant unit within the TÜRSAB Agency Registry Directorate. Upon receiving the application, the relevant unit checks whether the Travel Agency Information Form has been entered into TÜRSAB's records, whether the website for which the application is made has been declared in the Information Update Form, and whether there are any other issues that may prevent verification.
If the application meets the requirements, the website and its content to be verified are examined by the Digital Audit Unit in accordance with the relevant articles of the Travel Agencies Regulation.
Based on the opinion from the Digital Audit Unit, the relevant unit within the Agency Registry Directorate provides the applicant travel agency with the evaluation result through the digital channel used for the application:
◦ If the opinion is positive, the TÜRSAB DDS Package containing the system logo with the Travel Agency registration number and installation instructions is shared.
◦ If the opinion is negative, the applicant is notified of the reasons for the decision.
The application process is then closed.
What Criteria are Checked for Web Pages to be Included in the Digital Verification System?
The web page for which a DDS request is made is audited by the Digital Audit Unit based on the following criteria in accordance with relevant regulations. To receive a positive audit opinion:
◦ The website must be active.
◦ No activities other than Travel Agency activities are carried out on the website.
✓ There is no redirection from the domain for which the application is made to another website.
◦ The agency name and business license number approved by the Ministry, which identify that the website belongs to a Travel Agency, are visible on the website.
◦ The communication information declared by the applicant Travel Agency to TÜRSAB is present in the website content.
◦ The domain name query contains information about the real or legal entity to which the Travel Agency is affiliated.
The website and its content to be verified must comply with these criteria.
Warning: As part of the examination to be carried out under article (f) above, a consent letter to be prepared by the parties regarding the transfer of usage rights of the relevant domain names from third parties holding the registration rights of the domain names must be submitted to our Association by the Travel Agency Information Form!

What are the Terms and Conditions of Use for the TÜRSAB Digital Verification System Application?
By submitting the TÜRSAB Digital Verification System Application Form,
You;
-Acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all of TÜRSAB's conditions and terms listed below, and that you will comply with the specified conditions and terms;
-Also agree that, if your application is approved, you will comply with all the conditions and terms contained in the Digital Verification System package that will be sent to you, even if they are not expressly stated;
-Understand that submitting an application does not necessarily mean that your application will be approved by TÜRSAB;
Hereby, you are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions in advance.
Terms and Conditions of Use for the TÜRSAB Digital Verification System Application
By submitting the application, the authorized person acknowledges, represents, and warrants that all information provided to TÜRSAB is accurate; that he/she is authorized to represent the Agency specified in the application; that the website address provided in the application belongs to him/her and is associated with the specified Agency.
The Agency submitting the application hereby agrees, represents, and undertakes that in the event that TÜRSAB incurs any payment obligation as a result of inaccurate information provided to TÜRSAB, within 3 days of receiving the letter sent by TÜRSAB for the purpose of remedying the damage, it will pay the relevant amount in cash and without delay to TÜRSAB to cover the damages.
TÜRSAB determines the service, methods and tools, visuals, technical infrastructure, usage conditions, and terms under the name of the Digital Verification System; it may make any changes it deems necessary and may even stop providing the Digital Verification System service to approved Agencies with prior notice.
TÜRSAB will make every effort to provide the Digital Verification System service continuously without interruption.
However, TÜRSAB does not guarantee under any circumstances that the system will operate flawlessly and without interruption. TÜRSAB cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from interruptions in the system; short or long-term technical difficulties that may affect the operation of the system; software, internet, server, database errors; cyberattacks; and other possible problems that may affect the operation of the system and not mentioned here.
This is a privacy policy statement by TÜRSAB, which is the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies. TÜRSAB states that it does not save or store any information entered into the application form until the form is submitted. However, once the form is submitted, all the data entered into the form, along with the date and time of the application and the IP address, will be saved and shared with TÜRSAB officials for evaluation purposes.
The applicant agrees that this data will be stored on TÜRSAB servers and shared with relevant TÜRSAB officials if the application is approved and used by the TÜRSAB Digital Verification System.
TÜRSAB assures that all data shared with them during the application and usage process will only be stored and used by TÜRSAB, in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. They also state that they will not share this data with any third parties unless required by law.
TÜRSAB also reserves the right to evaluate the accuracy of the information provided in the application form. If the information is found to be incorrect or if any illegal activity is detected, TÜRSAB may impose administrative and criminal sanctions or take legal action under the relevant legislation.
The applicant agrees to inform TÜRSAB of any changes to the information provided in the application. Failure to do so may result in TÜRSAB suspending the Digital Verification System service being provided to the travel agency without notice. TÜRSAB cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages arising from such situations.
If the application is approved, the travel agency must install the logo contained in the Digital Verification System package provided to the authorized person in accordance with the installation instructions provided and test it on the website specified in the application.
TÜRSAB states that the server, software, and/or system configuration of the website specified in the application may not allow the Digital Verification System to function properly. In such cases, the travel agency is responsible for creating a support request in accordance with the installation instructions and informing TÜRSAB. TÜRSAB will review support requests created in accordance with the installation instructions and try to provide the best possible solution.
TÜRSAB cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages arising from the placement of an untested or non-functional logo on the website of the travel agency, even if it has been approved by TÜRSAB.
