STAFF CHANGE
PROCESS OF PROCEDURE
In travel agencies, the original foreign language proficiency certificate for information officers, and the original or certified copy of other documents related to the personnel are submitted to and archived by our Union. Travel agencies are obliged to notify TÜRSAB of changes related to personnel within thirty days at the latest and to send the documents. After the examination and evaluation of the documents, TÜRSAB informs the Ministry of the changes.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
At least one employee with the qualifications defined in sub-paragraphs (a), (b), and (c) of the first item below is employed in the headquarters and branches of travel agencies.
• Travel Agency Personnel Certificate,
o the original, verifiable copy or notarized copy of the document indicating that they have completed vocational high school, associate or undergraduate education in hotel management and tourism,
o the original foreign language proficiency certificate for information officers issued by the Ministry,
o the original or notarized copy of the guide certificate issued by the Ministry,
Must be submitted in the application file. The documents defined in (a) and (c) are certified by TÜRSAB personnel after their suitability is examined during the application process and returned to the applicant.
(Personnel who have a foreign language proficiency certificate for information officers in Group C travel agencies can be employed instead of personnel with the qualifications specified in the first paragraph.)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Can the board members, partners, or representatives authorized to represent and sign the legal entity that owns the travel agency be defined as agency personnel at the same time?
Travel agency owners who have one of the qualifications defined in Article 35/1 of the Travel Agencies Regulation and who work in their agency are considered personnel in their agency.
2. Can personnel who have any of the defined documents work in more than one travel agency at the same time?
Personnel with submitted documents can only work in one travel agency center or branch. In case a personnel change application is received from the travel agency they previously worked for, it is requested to make a new personnel change application.
3. Can verifiable documents be used instead of personnel certificates?
Verifiable documents through e-Government or different official authorities are accepted as original documents.
4. Which field graduates can be employed as travel agency personnel?
Individuals who have completed vocational high school, associate or undergraduate education in hotel management and tourism can be defined as travel agency personnel.
