IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE INFORMATION OFFICER TOURISM STUDIES EXAM
Dear Candidate,
On Saturday, April 20, 2024, you must log in to the system via https://akademi.tursab.org.tr/ at least 15 minutes before the exam start time for the Information Officer (Tourism Knowledge) Online Exam, which will start at 10.30 am and end at 11.30 am. Your username and password to be used for login is the e-mail address and password you used during your application. If you do not remember your password, you can create a new password from the Forgot your password? field.
When the exam time comes, the exam hall will open automatically and if it does not open, refresh the page.
The exam consists of 50 questions and the duration is 60 minutes. Each question is worth 2 points and if you get 70 points and above at the end of the exam, you will receive the Information Officer Certificate of Achievement which you can only use in C type agencies and you will be entitled to take the foreign language exam in order to receive the Information Officer Foreign Language Certificate of Achievement which you can use in A type agencies.
The foreign language exam consists of two steps. The first step, the Foreign Language Written Examination, will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024 between 10.30 - 11.30 hours and the exam link will be sent to you by both TÜRSAB Academy and Dialogue Language Schools next week. The written exam is evaluated out of 50 points.
Candidates who score 20 points and above from the written exam will be eligible to take the oral exam, which is the second step of the foreign language exam. The oral exam will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 - 5, 2024, spread over the whole day. You will be notified by Dialogue Language Schools via e-mail which day and time you will take the exam. You are kindly requested to check your e-mail inbox and junk mailbox on April 29-30 and May 1-2-3, 2024. The oral exam will be evaluated out of 50 points.
If your total score from the written and oral exams is 70 and above, your Information Officer Foreign Language Achievement Certificate will be uploaded to https://akademi.tursab.org.tr/ the week following the exam, and you can download and use your QR code document on your computer or mobile phone by logging in with the username and password you entered the exam. No physical document is provided.
There will be no make-up exam for tourism knowledge, foreign language written and oral exams, and if you cannot attend the tourism knowledge exam due to force majeure, you must send us your document proving this situation via akademi@tursab.org.tr at the latest within 2 business days after the exam. If deemed appropriate, the exam fee will be refunded. Fee refund due to force majeure is only valid for the Tourism Knowledge Exam and no refund is made in case of failure to take the Foreign Language Written and Oral exams.
