Born in Istanbul, Gülay Cingöz completed her pre-university education and undergraduate studies in Istanbul. Following her graduation, she began her professional career in 1993. Throughout her career, she has held various positions in human resources within the holding and banking sectors, and served as Human Resources Manager at Turkcell Group companies from 2000 to 2017. In 2019, Cingöz took on the role of Human Resources Manager at İBB İSPER A.Ş., after which she provided consultancy services in the field of human resources. In 2022, she assumed the position of Human Resources Director at TÜRSAB. She is the mother of one child.
The Human Resources Directorate carries out its Human Resources activities in alignment with the vision, mission, values, and strategies of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies — adding value to management and organization through qualified and efficient recruitment and placement, contributing to the performance of both the institution and its employees, and supporting their development processes, thereby growing stronger together with the institution and its staff.
