Director of Expert Committee and Corporate Events
Born in Istanbul in 1971, Ceylan URAZ YİĞİTERHAN is a graduate of Çukurova University's Mersin Faculty of Tourism. She received training in Tourism, Sales and Marketing Strategies at Liverpool Borough Metropolitan College. Having begun her career during her university years through internships in purchasing and cost accounting, Yiğiterhan went on to serve as a Sales Representative at the Mersin Hilton. She subsequently specialized in Congress Tourism, Incoming, Ticket Sales, and Package Tours at Mersin OLCARTOUR. She continued her tourism career as Deputy General Manager in the MICE Specialization field at SCALA Tourism in Istanbul. Outside the tourism sector, she has held significant positions in her areas of expertise at major corporate firms such as Koç Holding and Ülker/Yıldız Holding. Since October 2023, she has been serving as Director of Specialization Presidencies and Corporate Events at TÜRSAB. She is also the Istanbul President of the Mersin Tourism Graduates Association (METİOD). She has a good command of English, is married, and is the mother of two children.
Directorate of Specialization Presidencies
The 15 Specialization Presidencies operating under TÜRSAB carry out comprehensive work aimed at the development of Turkish tourism. These Presidencies seek to make significant contributions to the sector by supporting the activities of travel agencies and responding to the challenges faced by members through solution-oriented approaches. The Specialization Presidencies support the sustainable growth of the sector by producing swift and effective solutions to the problems encountered by travel agencies. For travel agencies applying for membership as a Specialization Presidency, they facilitate the discovery and promotion of new tourist destinations, the creation of innovative package programs to expand the product range, destination promotional events and fair organizations, and the establishment of B2B business connections between members and tour operators to enable the addition of new package programs to their tours.
Directorate of Corporate Events
The Directorate manages all meetings within TÜRSAB and between institutions, domestic and international familiarization trips, fair and conference organizations, and arranges sponsorships, representations, and all events required by travel agencies.
