Mr. Ünsever was born in 1961 in İzmir. Mr. Ünsever who completed his primary and secondary education in İzmir Karşıyaka, graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Law in 1985 and started his career as a lawyer in 1986 as a member of the İzmir Bar Association. Ünsever, who continued his career as a lawyer and as a member of the Istanbul Bar Association in 1996. After that, he contributed to the studies within the scope of the formation of tourism legislation between 1994-1999, when he was the TÜRSAB Legal Advisor. F. İlker Ünsever has books in the field of Tourism Law and articles published in various journals and he has been a part-time lecturer at Boğaziçi University, Department of Tourism Management since 1999. He teaches Event Law and Effective Manager's Law. Ünsever is also a member of the Cittaslow Turkey Science Board, Tourism Council, Istanbul Tourism Platform, and Karşıyaka Sports Club.

Mr. Ünsever started to work with TÜRSAB Management as the Chief Legal Advisor to the Board of Directors and he coordinates the TÜRSAB Legal Unit and takes part in the work of the Unit.
