WE HOSTED FUTURE TOURISM PROFESSIONALS FOR THE FUTURE OF TOURISM
We hosted the tourism professionals of the future for the future of tourism.
On the occasion of Tourism Week, we held the 'Tourism Meeting' at Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center, which we organized to strengthen the role of young people, the future of the tourism sector, in the sector and to increase youth employment.
The event, hosted by TÜRSAB President Firuz Bağlıkaya, was attended by TÜRSAB Vice Presidents, Board Members, Chief Advisors, RRB and Specialization Presidents and Chief Legal Advisor, as well as Istanbul Deputy Governor Mehmet Sülün, Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Mücahit Yentür, Historian-Author İlber Ortaylı, over 1500 tourism students and members of the press.
In the panel titled "İlber Ortaylı Seyahatnamesi" moderated by İlker Ünsever, our Chief Legal Advisor, Ortaylı explained to young people the qualities that tourism professionals should have. Emphasizing that tourism is a very special profession, Ortaylı advised young people to travel frequently and learn foreign languages to improve themselves.
In the panel moderated by Handan Boyce and featuring Aylin Özsavaş and Eşref Borça as speakers, the effects of technology and artificial intelligence on creativity in tourism were evaluated.
Influencer Öykü Yalçın shared her career journey and travel experiences.
