MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE FROM TÜRSAB AT EMITT FAIR
The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation and promote solidarity with Palestine at the 27th EMITT Fair.
The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) participated in the 27th EMITT Fair with a large committee. TÜRSAB stand attracted great interest from visitors at the fair, which hosted many local and foreign participants. Within the scope of the fair, the TÜRSAB committee hosted delegations from Indonesia, Belarus, Pakistan, Bulgaria and Maldives and held an important meeting in order to show its support for Palestine, which has been living under occupation for years, to encourage solidarity with Palestine and to strengthen its ties.
During the meetings with the Palestinian Delegation, which included Rana Abusibaa, Undersecretary of the Embassy of Palestine and Majed Ishaq, General Manager of the Marketing Department of the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, two separate Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) were signed with the Palestinian Tourist and Travel Agencies Association and the Holy Land Tour Operators Association.
The delegations emphasized that they aim to provide stronger cooperation between the two countries with the signed agreement. In addition, the TÜRSAB Committee expressed their great sorrow over the massacres in Palestine, which have been going on for decades and have reached the level of genocide since October 7, and stated that they have always stood by the Palestinian people together with the Republic of Turkey. Expressing once again that they hope that the human tragedy in the Palestinian territories will end as soon as possible and justice will be established in the region, the TÜRSAB Committee noted that if peace is achieved, they sincerely want to cooperate with Palestine in the field of tourism, which will strengthen our cultural ties.
