ANNOUNCEMENT ON CHANGES TO THE PASSENGER WELCOME PROCEDURE AT ISTANBUL AIRPORT

Dear Members,

According to the official letter numbered 1060990 dated January 13, 2026, sent to our Association by the Istanbul Governorate Istanbul Airport Civil Administration Directorate, changes have been made to the passenger reception procedure at Istanbul Airport.

In accordance with the decision numbered 2026-01 dated January 13, 2026, of the Istanbul Airport Security Commission, the following changes have been decided upon, taking into account operational and security considerations:

-  Doors 8 and 14 on the arrivals level of the Terminal building, previously used for meeting activities, will be closed to passenger exits as of February 1, 2026.
-  As of February 1, 2026, all passenger reception activities will be conducted exclusively through gates 9 and 13.
