ANNOUNCEMENT ON CHANGES TO VISITING HOURS DUE TO A RELIGIOUS CEREMONY AT SÜMELA MONASTERY

Dear Members,
A religious ceremony will be held in the inner courtyard of the Sümela Monastery Archaeological Site, located in the Altındere Valley of Maçka district, Trabzon, on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Except for those participating in the religious event, no visitors will be admitted between 06:00 and 14:00.
The Sümela Monastery Archaeological Site will be open to all local and foreign visitors between 14:00 and 19:00 on August 23, 2025.
