ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE BASE WAGES FOR TOURIST GUIDES TO BE APPLIED IN 2026

Dear Members,

According to the letter numbered 7732645 sent to our Association by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey; Article 6, paragraph 1 of the Tourist Guide Profession Law No. 6326, titled "Tourist Guide Fees," states: "The base wage tariff is determined by the Ministry based on net wages, taking into account the opinions of the associations and the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, and is increased annually by a rate not less than the revaluation rate determined and announced in accordance with the provisions of Article 298 of the Tax Procedure Law No. 213 dated 04.01.1961, and announced by the Ministry no later than December, to take effect from the beginning of the following calendar year." In accordance with the decree, the Ministry's approval dated 16.12.2025, numbered 7651550, states that the base fees specified in the Appendix will be applied for tourist guides in 2026.
