ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE LAWSUIT FILED BY OUR ASSOCIATION AGAINST THE REGULATION PUBLISHED ON INTERNATIONAL HEALTH TOURISM AND TOURIST HEALTH

Dear Members,

As it is known, with the entry into force of the "Regulation on International Health Tourism and Tourist Health" published in the Official Gazette dated April 26, 2025 and numbered 32882, the "Regulation on International Health Tourism and Tourist Health" published in the Official Gazette dated 13/7/2017 and numbered 30123 was repealed.

A lawsuit was filed for the cancellation of the unlawful provisions of the said regulation, which determines the scope of the services to be provided in the field of health tourism and contains different regulations from the previous regulation on many important issues such as certification, authorization, supervision, administrative sanctions to be applied, which are considered to not serve the sectoral order and public interest.

The proceedings are being carried out through the file numbered 2025/2450 Esas of the 10th Chamber of the Council of State, and our members who wish to object to the provisions of the regulation have the right to intervene in the case. A sample Petition for Intervention is attached for the benefit of our members who wish to intervene in the case.
