A CONSULTATION MEETING ON TOURISM TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN TÜRSAB AND İBB WAS HELD
The Tourism Transportation Consultation Meeting was held at our TÜRSAB General Headquarters with the participation of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Assoc. Dr. Pelin Alpkökin, Public Transportation Services Director Osman Kılıçaslan, and the accompanying delegation.
At the meeting, our TÜRSAB delegation—comprising our Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Davut Günaydın; Board Members Gürkan Özcan and Kerem Serkan Çoban; and Cem Türkkan, our Chair of the Highway, Transportation, Transport and Vehicle Leasing Expert Committee—met with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Deputy Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pelin Alpkökin, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Public Transportation Services Director Osman Kılıçaslan, İBB Transportation Planning Director Melda Horoz, and their deputy directors Ramazan Özbek, Cihan Karakaşlıoğlu, and Sertaç Güngör.
In the meeting, the following topics were discussed: the latest status and current developments of the Historical Peninsula Pedestrianization Project, the new fees and driver restrictions to be implemented in the new year under the updated regulations of the İBB Tourism Road Document, parking and stopping issues around tourism areas and airports, the support and discounts that can be provided by İSPARK, joint exploration and inspection trips in the field, and the development of joint projects and cooperation models for the future.
