A MEETING HELD WITH THE MINISTRY OF FAMILY AND SOCIAL SERVICES OFFICIALS REGARDING THE DRAFT COOPERATION PROTOCOL “TOURISM EMPOWERED BY WOMEN”
A meeting regarding the draft cooperation protocol titled “Tourism Empowered by Women”, planned to be carried out between the Ministry of Family and Social Services and TÜRSAB, was held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the TÜRSAB Central Office.
The meeting was conducted both physically and simultaneously online via the Zoom platform. Attendees from TÜRSAB included Board members Esra Başeskioğlu and Oya Ebru Küçükel, as well as Chief of Staff Kayhan Akyüz, Corporate Events Director Semih Yıldız, and Legal Counsel Ms. Damla Uzun.
Representing the Ministry of Family and Social Services were Süreyya Erkan, Director General on the Status of Women, Merve Okan, Head of the Department of Economic Status; and Family and Social Services Experts Yeliz Filiz and Fatma Küçükbaşol.
During the meeting, mutual opinions and proposals were exchanged on the draft protocol, which aims to encourage stronger participation of women in the tourism sector. The suggestions were carefully considered.
After the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation and coordination would continue with finalizing and signing the protocol.
