GREECE DESTINATION PROMOTION AND B2B EVENT HELD AT TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE
The "Greece Destination Promotion and B2B Meeting Event," hosted by TÜRSAB in collaboration with the Tourism Office of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul, took place at our Central Office on Friday, October 10, 2025.
Attendees included Vice President Davut Günaydın; Board Members Mehmet Akyıl and Esra Başeskioğlu; Audit Committee President Hakan Bayındır; Audit Committee Members Tülay Salihoğlu and Oktay Karadeniz; Chief Advisor to the President Numan Olcar; Istanbul Fatih RRB President Gürkan Özcan; Istanbul Boğaziçi RRB President Aşkın Kördal; Thrace RRB President Egemen Aydın; and Middle East Tourism Specialization President Metin Duyar. Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras, Consul General of Greece in Istanbul; Maria Rahmanidou, Tourism Attaché of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul; and Christos Stamboulopoulos, Chief Advisor for Economic and Commercial Relations at the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul, were in attendance.
Vice President Davut Günaydın, Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras, Consul General of Greece in Istanbul, and Maria Rahmanidou, Tourism Attaché of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul, delivered opening remarks at the event. Information was provided on Greece's tourism potential, cultural heritage, rich culinary culture, and regional dynamics. Following the opening remarks and presentations, B2B meetings were held to develop new partnerships regarding travel, accommodation, and tour packages.
Following the event, representatives from Turkish and Greek travel agencies met at a dinner hosted by the Tourism Office of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul for an introductory meeting.
