TÜRSAB PARTICIPATED IN THE "CLIMATE, ENVIRONMENT, WOMEN 2030 – WOMEN LEADERS FORUM"

The "Climate, Environment, Women 2030 – Women Leaders Forum" organized in collaboration with Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and UN Women was held in Gaziantep. Our Audit Board Member, Ayşegül Özkeleş, represented our Union at the forum.

At the forum held before COP31, women leaders consisting of ministers, members of parliament, governors and deputy governors, rectors, and representatives from civil society, public, and private sectors came together to address issues and solutions in the field of climate and environment. Within the framework of the forum, which emphasized the importance of women's greater participation in decision-making mechanisms for climate and environmental policies, the "Gaziantep COP31 Declaration," prepared to be presented at COP31 to be held in Antalya, was also signed.

We believe that the strong representation of women in decision-making mechanisms is an important force for a sustainable, resilient, and livable future.
