TÜRSAB PARTICIPATED IN THE “TOWARD COP31: VAKIFBANK—VALUE FOR THE FUTURE” EVENT

The "Towards COP31: VakıfBank Values the Future" Panel, Product Launch, and Signing Ceremony were held. Our union was represented at the event by our TÜRSAB Women's Employment Consultant, Oya Ebru Küçükel.

In the event conducted with the "Development-Oriented Value Banking" approach, financing solutions for sustainable development, green and digital transformation, renewable energy investments, and reducing the carbon footprint of businesses were discussed.

In the program attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, VakıfBank General Manager Osman Arslan, Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) Chairman Erdoğan Özegen, and MESS Board of Directors Chairman Özgür Burak Akkol, information was shared about the "Value to Women – Green and Digital Transformation Credit" aimed at supporting women entrepreneurship.

As part of the event, Oya Ebru Küçükel exchanged views with Belma Sekmen, President of TOGEM-DER, on initiatives aimed at women’s employment.

In the meeting with Samed Ağırbaş, President of the Zero Waste Foundation and High-Level Climate Champion for COP31, the support for green transformation in the tourism sector, the increase in women's employment, and potential corporate collaborations were discussed. In this context, it was agreed to hold a comprehensive working meeting to address joint projects.
