TÜRSAB THRACE REGIONAL REPRESENTATION BOARD VISITS ORESTIADA MUNICIPALITY

On December 23, 2025, the TÜRSAB Thrace Regional Representation Board paid an official visit to Orestiada Municipality in the Thrace region of Greece. During the visit, TÜRSAB Thrace Regional Representation Board President Egemen Aydın and Board members met with Orestiada Mayor Adamantios Papadopoulos and his deputies.

The meeting focused on increasing tourism between Turkey and Greece, facilitating transportation and transit, and strengthening institutional cooperation. Opportunities for cooperation were evaluated on topics such as regulations for tour buses at border crossings and planning for event and festival periods. Furthermore, a decision was made to collaborate on developing sustainable tourism projects between the TÜRSAB Thrace Regional Representation Board, Orestiada Municipality, and Edirne Municipality.
