TÜRSAB'S VIEWS WERE PRESENTED AT THE PAPGJC/60 MEETING
The PAPGJC/60 Meeting was held online on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Numan Olcar, Principal Consultant of TÜRSAB, attended the meeting on behalf of our Association.
The meeting addressed topics related to payment and risk management that directly concern travel agencies. It was emphasized that, under the TIP framework, data reflecting actual sales volume must be shared; measures must be taken to prevent the misuse of travel agency identification information in NDC channels; and transparent communication and reasonable response times must be ensured in Travel Agency Commissioners processes.
Additionally, it was conveyed that the procedural error in manual card authorization should not be considered a financial risk on its own; our Union's views on the need for collateral and fees to be proportional to the actual risk and transparent were also shared.
We will continue to closely monitor developments on these issues in order to protect the rights and interests of our travel agencies.
