TÜRSAB HEALTH TOURISM SPECIALIZATION PRESIDENCY PARTICIPATED IN THE “FROM STEAM TO TREATMENT” SUMMIT
TÜRSAB’s Health Tourism Specialization Department participated in the session titled “Health Tourism and Healthy Living Centers in Türkiye,” held as part of the “From Steam to Treatment” Summit.
During the program, which was attended by Specialization President Şehnaz Atak Askeroğlu and Specialization Vice President Kerem Demirkan, Şehnaz Atak Askeroğlu shared her insights on the role of travel agencies in health tourism, patient trust, coordination processes, and Türkiye's potential for sustainable growth in health tourism.
During the opening program of the “From Steam to Therapy” Summit, Bahadır Cevizci, President of the Natural Health Association; Lutz Lungwitz, President of the German Medical Wellness Association (DMWV); Dr. Ilgaz Nacakoğlu, President of TURKAP; Dr. Fatih Seyran, President of the International Health Tourism Institute; and the Health Minister’s Advisor & Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Üsküdar University Prof. Dr. Haydar Sur shared their views on the transformation in the fields of health tourism and healthy living.
In the subsequent session titled “Health Tourism and Healthy Living Centers in Türkiye,” TÜRSAB Health Tourism Specialization President Şehnaz Atak Askeroğlu, Deputy General Secretary of the Service Exporters’ Association Üzeyir Işık, OHSAD Board Member Dr. Feza Şen, and Director of the Health Tourism Department at the Turkish Ministry of Health Ms. Seher Taş provided assessments on the sector’s current status and future vision.
