20TH TTI SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL EVENT HELD FOR OUR TRAVEL AGENCIES, ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES, AND ALL INDUSTRY STAKEHOLDERS IN IZMIR

The 20th TTI İzmir Special Promotional Event and Press Conference for Our Travel Agencies, Accommodation Facilities, and All Industry Stakeholders was held on October 22, 2026, at the TÜRSAB Headquarters.

The event was attended by Hasan Eker, Vice Chair of the TÜRSAB Board of Directors; Hüseyin Koca, Deputy General Manager of İZFAŞ; TÜRSAB Board Members Gürkan Özcan, Tülay Salihoğlu, Özgür Ildır Öksüz, and Yeşim Yeşiltaç; Audit Committee Members Yüksel Türemez and Büşra Celep; and our RRB Chairs Okan Cem Başusta, Servet İtik, Aşkın Kördal, and Mehmet Ali Tuna; TÜRSAB MICE Tourism Expert Committee Chair Gürkan Akün; TÜRSAB Health Tourism Expert Committee Chair Şehnaz A. Askeroğlu; Gastronomy Tourism Expert Committee Chair M. Tümay İmamoğlu; Hajj and Umrah Expert Committee Chair Salih Kutluoğlu; Middle East Expert Committee Chair Hasan Bayram; TÜRSAB Chief Legal Advisor İlker Ünsever, İZFAŞ Deputy Director of Exhibitions Yusuf Erdoğan, İZFAŞ Exhibitions Coordinator Elif Akşahin, the İZFAŞ delegation, travel agencies, accommodation providers, industry stakeholders, travel agency representatives, and members of the press attended the event.

At the event, the 20-year journey of TTI İzmir, which will be held at Fuar İzmir from December 2-4, 2026, its 2026 goals, and the new business and market opportunities it will offer to industry professionals were discussed.

This year, information was shared about the event program of TTI İzmir, which has been awarded the Approved International Fair Certificate by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), including its international buyer delegation program, B2B meetings, special areas for Health and MICE tourism, regional stands, and the gathering of industry professionals.

It was stated that nearly 250 preliminary applications have been made from 55 countries to the international purchasing committee program conducted in collaboration with Turkish Airlines, and it was expressed that the aim is for travel agencies and industry professionals to reach new markets and develop their international business connections through the bilateral business meetings to be held within the scope of the fair.

In its 20th year, TTI İzmir will bring the tourism sector together with new collaborations and international business opportunities in İzmir from December 2-4, 2026.
