147TH MEETING OF HANKOK WAS HELD IN ISTANBUL

The 147th meeting of the “Air Transport Facilitation Committee (HANKOK)” organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA) within the scope of the “Air Transport Facilitation Regulation” was held on 23-24 December 2024 at Istanbul Marriott Hotel Şişli. 

Our Chief Advisor to the President and TÜRSAB Airline, Ticket Sales and IATA Specialization President Numan Olcar attended the meeting on behalf of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB). The meeting, which was widely attended by public and sector representatives, was chaired by SHGM Director General Prof. Dr. Kemal Yüksek. 

During the meeting, security, customs, passport clearance and other important issues related to airlines and airports were discussed. 

The meeting provided an important platform for improving processes in the aviation sector, increasing compliance with international standards and strengthening sectoral cooperation. Participants stated that the decisions taken during the meeting will contribute positively to the sector.
