19 MAY ATATÜRK MEMORIAL YOUTH AND SPORTS DAY: INFORMATIVE TOUR OF THE HISTORIC AQUEDUCTS AND NATURE HIKE IN BELGRAD FOREST HELD

Within the scope of the May 19 Atatürk Memorial, Youth and Sports Day, a half-day informational tour was organized in Belgrade Forest by the TÜRSAB Nature, Adventure, and Cultural Tourism Specialization Department.

The program, which began in Bahçeköy, was carried out along the Topuzlu Dam and Valide Sultan Dam route, featuring a hike and informational sessions. Participants had the opportunity to get an up-close look at the region’s natural and historical heritage.

During the program, Nature and Adventure Tourism Specialization Department President Mikayil Köroğlu shared insights on nature and adventure tourism, while Culture Tourism Specialization Department President Hakan Çokgezen provided information on Belgrade Forest’s historical water structures and cultural heritage.

The event brought together nature, history, and cultural tourism along a single route, offering participants both an informative and enjoyable experience.
