2ND MESOPOTAMIA TOURISM AND GASTRONOMY FAIR OPENS ITS DOORS TO VISITORS

The 2nd Mesopotamia Tourism and Gastronomy Fair opened its doors to visitors on Thursday, May 23rd at Diyarbakır Mesopotamia International Fair and Congress Center.

Our Vice President Hasan Eker, Board Members Mehmet Akyıl and Talip Aldemir, Chief Advisor to the President Hamit Kuk, Regional Representative Board Presidents and Specialization Presidents, as well as Mayors, Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mehmet Kaya, representatives of NGOs, tourism professionals and members of the press took part in the fair organized to evaluate the unique tourism potential of Mesopotamia and to offer new collaborations to the sector in this context.

Mehmet Akyıl, who made an opening speech on behalf of our Association at the fair, explained the goals of our Tourism Century Project and drew attention to the need to reveal the tourism values of both the Mesopotamia region and the undiscovered destinations of our country in line with these goals.
