"2ND TOURISM SECTOR MEETING" WAS HELD IN COOPERATION WITH EAST MARMARA RRB, KOCAELI GOVERNORSHIP, KOCAELI METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY, KOCAELI UNIVERSITY AND KOTİD
The "2nd Tourism Sector Meeting", hosted by our Eastern Marmara Regional Representative Board President Aytekin Şahinbaş, organized in cooperation with Kocaeli Governorship, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Kocaeli University and Kocaeli Hotel and Touristic Facility Operators Association (KOTİD), took place on 09-10-11 January 2024.
In addition to our TÜRSAB Disciplinary Board Members, Regional Representative Board Presidents, Specialization Presidents and Deputy Specialization Presidents; Kocaeli Deputy Governor Şenol Kaya, Mayor of Körfez Şener Söğüt, Mayor of Gölcük Ali Yıldırım Sezer, Mayor of Kartepe Mustafa Kocaman, Kocaeli Municipality Deputy Mayor Mustafa Soydabaş, Kocaeli Governorship Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Fatih Taşdelen, Kocaeli Municipality Tourism and Wildlife Branch Manager Ömer Bahadır Özyılmaz, KOTİD President Saadettin Acar and travel agency representatives from Turkey and abroad.
Within the scope of the program, touristic destinations of the region such as Izmit Historical Corridor, Kapanca Street, Sırrı Pasha Mansion, Archeology Museum, Yuvacık Barajı, Çoban Mustafa Paşa Külliyesi, Malkoçoğlu Türbesi, Hereke Castle, Kartepe, Ormanya Natural Life Park were visited.
On the last day of the event, sector representatives came together at the Kocaeli Congress Center. The 2nd Tourism Sector Meeting, which brought together hotels and touristic businesses, travel agencies and restaurants, ended with a souvenir photo shoot and the presentation of gifts.
