One of our most important duties as a professional organization is to ensure that our colleagues have access to up-to-date information about the sector. We must be people-oriented. Our congress is the best answer to those who ignore us. To shed light on the future of our sector, we will continue our work in a way to emphasize common sense.”
In her opening speech, Oya Narin said, “As TTYD, we have made a great contribution to the current account deficit. Tourism is an extremely important sector for the Turkish economy. Projections show that it will generate 132 billion dollars of revenue in 2032. As stakeholders, we should support the transformation process of the sector.”
In his speech, Erkan Yağcı said, “As stakeholders of the sector, we are not competitors, we create value together. The duty of all NGOs should be to take responsibility wherever Turkey is perceived negatively. We are now in a new competitive environment. We need to change our vision and mentality.”
In his speech, TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın said, “As the Association of Travel Agencies, we are working non-stop with all our strength to spread tourism to 12 months as well as health tourism, flight tickets, and visa problems. Our contribution to the country's economy is very large, so I can say with peace of mind that the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, that is, you are a blessing of God to Turkish tourism.”
In his speech, TÜRSAB Vice President and Congress Coordinator Hasan Eker emphasized the great interest shown in the congress and thanked everyone who contributed.
