83RD SKAL WORLD CONGRES STARTED IN IZMIR
The 83'rd Skal World Congress, which brings together the important decision makers of world tourism, started in Izmir on October 16, 2024.
The opening ceremony of the Congress was held at Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Center.
In addition to our Board Members Mehmet Akyıl, Engin Ceylan, Ali Yaramışlı, Chief Advisors to the President Soner Bacaksız and Uğur Hasbahçeli, approximately 350 executives from local and regional administrations and tourism industry leaders attended the ceremony. In addition to TÜRSAB Vice President Hasan Eker, the opening speeches of the event were delivered by Seyhan Müşerref Kulalı, Head of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tourism Commission, Jaime Mayaki, United Nations Tourism Technical Cooperation Director and Annette Cardenas, President of Skal International.
The congress will end on October 21 and within the program, participants will have the opportunity to visit the historical and touristic places of Izmir and participate in various panels. TÜRSAB, one of the congress sponsors, will host its guests at its stand in the foyer area of Swissotel Büyük Efes on October 18-19.
