A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM ON THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL ASSETS OF THE REGION WAS ORGANIZED WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE TECHNICAL INVESTIGATION TRIP IN TRNC

Within the scope of the technical investigation trip held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with the participation of our TÜRSAB Nature and Adventure Tourism Specialization President Mikayil Köroğlu, Specialization Vice President and our travel agencies, a comprehensive program was organized for the natural and cultural assets of the region.

The trip opened with a visit to St. Hilarion Castle in the historical atmosphere of St. Hilarion Castle and included a 5-kilometer hike from St. Hilarion to Karmi on a trail consisting of a stream bed and open forest land. After this walk intertwined with nature, a short coffee break was organized in Karmi Village to interact with the local people.

Departing from Karmi, the delegation had lunch at Bellapais Gardens Restaurant and then visited Bellapais Monastery. After the visit to this important cultural heritage site, which stands out with its historical texture, the delegation moved on to Kyrenia.

After the inspection of Kyrenia Castle, the program was completed with free time around the port and in the city center.
