A MEETING ON INCENTIVES FOR SERVICES EXPORT WAS HELD BETWEEN THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF TÜRKIYE AND TÜRSAB

Following the publication of Decree No. 10962 titled "Decision on the Definition, Classification, and Support for Service Sectors," published in the Official Gazette on February 27, 2026, which expanded the scope of support for our members and included the exhibition and convention tourism sectors within the scope of incentives; a comprehensive meeting was organized between the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye and the Association to discuss the implementation details.

The meeting, hosted by the General Directorate of International Services Trade, was attended by Deputy General Director Yusuf Karakaş, Director of the Department of Exhibition Services and International Events Melis Atamer, and their accompanying expert delegation.

Representing the Association, the meeting—which included our Board of Directors Vice President Hasan Eker, our Chief Legal Advisor İlker Ünsever, our M.I.C.E. Tourism Specialized Chairman Gürkan Akün, and our delegation—detailed the contributions the new support mechanisms will provide to our sector and the implementation processes.
