A PRODUCTIVE MEETING HELD BETWEEN THE INTERNATIONAL AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION (IATA) AND TÜRSAB

A comprehensive and productive meeting was held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, between the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to discuss potential cooperation.

The meeting, led by Mr. Numan Olcar, Chief Advisor to the President of TÜRSAB and Head of the Airline Ticketing and IATA Specialty Committee, was attended by Mr. Dusan Kostic, Director of Distribution and Payment Systems for the IATA Europe Region; Mr. Jason Byrne, Global Product Director for Clearing Services; Mr. Ignacio Mula, Global Agency Engagement Director; Ms. Funda Çalışır, Regional Manager for Central Asia and Azerbaijan; and Mr. Okan Oğur, Campaign Manager.

During the meeting, information was shared about IATA’s accreditation systems in the field of air transport, and the potential benefits of possible collaboration for the industry were discussed.
