A PROMOTIONAL TOUR THEMED "HEALTHY LIVING IN THE NORTH AEGEAN" WAS ORGANIZED

The "Healthy Living in the North Aegean" promotional tour, organized under the coordination of the Southern Marmara Development Agency and in collaboration with TÜRSAB, Turkish Airlines, and the Edremit Chamber of Commerce, took place from September 2–6, 2025. Representatives from five travel agencies organizing group tours from Norway and Sweden, designated as target markets, participated in the event.

Fatih Ergün, President of the TÜRSAB Çanakkale-Balıkesir Regional Representation Board, also participated in the program. Prominent tourist destinations in the North Aegean were visited, and the region's tourism potential was introduced to the participants. The thermal springs of the Gulf region, the nature tourism opportunities of the Kaz Mountains, and the sea tourism opportunities offered by the Aegean coast were highlighted.

In order to increase tourism activity from Northern European countries to the region and to create new market channels, new cooperation opportunities were evaluated through one-on-one (B2B) meetings between regional hoteliers and tourism professionals and foreign travel agency representatives.
