A SECTORAL ASSESSMENT MEETING WAS HELD BETWEEN THE T.R. MINISTRY OF TRADE AND TÜRSAB

A meeting was held at TÜRSAB Central Office with a committee from the General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkiye.

The Ministry of Trade delegation included General Manager Avni Dilber, Department Head Derya Güngör Özçelebi, and Trade Experts Zeynep Şahin and Serkan Karaseyfioğlu. The TÜRSAB committee also included Vice President Hasan Eker, TOAR Specialization Head Bülent Bek, Chief Legal Advisor İlker Ünsever, Acting Secretary General Çağla Elhan, and representatives from the Legal Department.

The meeting addressed issues such as service fee refunds, consumer rights, mandatory travel insurance practices, and airline ticket sales in travel agency activities. Solutions and opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration were also discussed.
