A TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS DELEGATION VISITED THE TÜRSAB STAND AS PART OF THE ISTANBUL TOURISM FAIR

A delegation from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) visited the TÜRSAB stand as part of the Istanbul Tourism Fair.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu and the accompanying TRNC delegation met with TÜRSAB Vice President Hasan Eker, Board Members Mehmet Akyıl, Yıldırım Taş, and Talip Aldemir, Incoming Tourism Specialization President Orhan Sancar, and TGA Board Travel Agency Representative Mete Vardar at the TÜRSAB stand.

During the meeting, the parties evaluated mutual tourism potential and cooperation opportunities. Projects that will increase tourism activity between Turkey and the TRNC, joint promotional activities, and cultural collaborations were discussed. Furthermore, B2B meetings facilitated direct communication between sector representatives, and strategic steps for the future were discussed. We would like to thank all our stakeholders who participated in the fair, hoping that it will contribute to the development of tourism in our country and the TRNC.
