A WORKSHOP ON THE SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF WILDLIFE WAS HELD IN MARMARIS

A workshop organized by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks to protect the natural balance and contribute to the sustainable management of wildlife was held in Marmaris with the participation of relevant stakeholders. TÜRSAB has been representing by the TÜRSAB Hunting Tourism Specialization Department President Murat Akkoyunlu attended the workshop.

Akkoyunlu emphasized in his speech the importance of balancing wildlife conservation with tourism activities, noting that sustainable hunting tourism serves as a vital tool for both the continuity of natural life and the support of local economies. He also stressed that strong collaboration among public institutions, local governments, and industry representatives in this field plays a critical role in effectively managing the challenges encountered.
