AIRASIA AIRLINE SENIOR MANAGERS VISITED THE TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE

We held a productive meeting with the senior managers of AirAsia Airlines at the TÜRSAB Central Office on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

The meeting, attended by AirAsia's Founding Partner and President of the Board of Directors Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, CEO Benyamine Ismail, and Commercial Director Amanda Woo, discussed the contributions the new flight route will bring to the sector.

Representing TÜRSAB at the meeting were our Vice President Davut Günaydın, our Chief Advisor and President of Airline Ticket Sales and IATA Specialization Numan Olcar, Specialization Vice President Buket Durmuş, Specialization Member Erhan Seven, and our TÜRSAB committee.

We believe that AirAsia's Istanbul flights will be an important development for our country's tourism and travel sector; we hope that the new route will be beneficial for all stakeholders.
