AN EVALUATION MEETING HELD TO ENRICH BATMAN'S TOURISM POTENTIAL AND PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

An evaluation meeting was held on July 22, 2025, with the participation of relevant stakeholders, to enhance Batman’s tourism potential and make its promotional activities more effective. During the meeting, projects planned to strengthen Batman’s position in the tourism sector were introduced, and comprehensive information was shared about the city’s cultural, historical, and natural richness.

The meeting, leaded by TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın, was attended by Yüksel Türemez, President of the Boğaziçi Regional Representation Board (RRB); Emin Ramanlı, Vice President of the Mesopotamia RRB;  İlham Seyyale, President of Cultural Tourism Specialization Committee; Metin Duyar, President of Middle East Tourism Specialization Committee; Özgür Ildır Öksüz, Member of the Disciplinary Board; Hakan Çokgezen, Vice President of the Gastronomy Tourism Specialization; Murat Sütçü, Acting Director of Culture and Social Affairs of Batman Municipality; and Şemsettin Yıldız, representing Malik Tur.

The meeting was held at TÜRSAB Central Office, showed that ideas and collaboration opportunities that would contribute to Batman’s tourism vision. A consensus was reached on taking concrete steps to support the development of the city’s tourism.
