CAPPADOCIA INFORMATIONAL TOUR AND B2B EVENT HELD
The Cappadoccia Informational Tour, organized under the auspices of TÜRSAB and hosting delegations from the TRNC and KITSAB, was successfully concluded.
As part of the program, which included TRNC Deputy Prime Minister Fikri Ataoğlu, KITSAB Board Chairman Oğuz Akançay, KITSAB Vice Chairman Doğan Yalkı, and representatives from TRNC travel agencies, promotional presentations were made on health tourism, the island of Cyprus, and the Cappadocia region, and informational tours were conducted in Cappadocia.
Representing the Association at the event were TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın, Board Members Mehmet Akyıl and Erhan Falay, the President’s Chief Advisor Talip Akdemir, the President of the Cappadocia Regional Representation Board Faruk Kahveci, members of the RRB Board of Directors, and travel agencies operating in the region.
As part of the program, a visit was paid to the office of Nevşehir Governor Ali Fidan. With the participation of Deputy Governors Kübra Karaalioğlu, Hüseyin Çam, Mücahit Öztürk, Provincial Police Chief Serkan Karaman, and Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Mehmet Çelik, the current state of tourism in the region was evaluated.
The delegations also met with Göreme President Ömer Eren to exchange views on the effective promotion of the destination.
During the B2B meetings, which were held with the participation of Nevşehir Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Orhan Kekeç, travel agencies evaluated opportunities for mutual cooperation. At the conclusion of the event, the TÜRSAB and TRNC delegations exchanged gifts.
