EGYPTIAN MINISTER OF TOURISM AND ANTIQUITIES SHERIF FETHI AND HIS DELEGATION MET WITH OUR PRESIDENT FIRUZ BAĞLIKAYA AND TÜRSAB COMMITTEE
Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fethi, CEO of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, Mr. Amr Elkady, Egyptian Ambassador Mr. Amr ELHAMAMY and the accompanying delegation visited TÜRSAB Headquarters and met with our President Firuz Bağlıkaya and our TÜRSAB committee.
The meeting, which included our Vice President Davut Günaydın, Board Members Mehmet Akyıl and Erol Türk, Audit Board President Hakan Bayındır, Specialization Presidents and the accompanying TÜRSAB Committee, focused on strengthening the tourism relations between the two countries, increasing flight connections and cooperation to ensure more tourism mobility.
Our President Firuz Bağlıkaya emphasized that we see Egypt as a partner, not a competitor, due to seasonal differences and that we are ready to cooperate to increase tourism traffic between the two countries. He congratulated the Egyptian delegation for their achievements in the Mediterranean.
Minister Fethi, on the other hand, shared Egypt's tourism diversity and increasing potential with new investments and expressed his desire to further deepen tourism relations with Turkey.
Following the fruitful meetings, messages of mutual goodwill were exchanged to develop stronger cooperation with Egypt in the field of tourism.
