GASTRONOMY INFORMATION TOUR TO BANSKO IN BULGARIA WAS HELD

Organized under the coordination of TÜRSAB's Gastronomy Tourism Specialization Presidency and in collaboration with Unique Bansko, the Gastronomy Information Tour to Bansko, Bulgaria, took place in Bansko from September 5–7, 2025.

The tour, attended by our Gastronomy Specialization Vice President Şebnem Urgancıoğlu, Media and Press Director Serkan Tahmaz, and travel agency representatives, showcased the city's prominent destinations within the framework of a program combining gastronomy, culture, and nature, and provided comprehensive information about the region's tourism potential.

In events held as part of the Unique Bansko Fest, visitors sampled local delicacies, experienced the region's cultural richness through traditional folk dances and local product presentations. Official meetings with Bansko Mayor Stoycho Banenski and Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Tourism Pavlin Petrov addressed the region's tourism vision. At the B2B meetings, collaboration opportunities were discussed between Turkish travel agencies and tourism representatives in Bansko.
