“GREECE ALEXANDROUPOLI, CENTRAL GREECE, WESTERN MACEDONIA, EASTERN MACEDONIA AND TRAKYA DESTINATION PROMOTION AND B2B MEETING EVENT” WAS HOSTED BY OUR ASSOCIATION
“Greece Alexandroupolis, Central Greece, Western Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia and Trakya Destination Promotion and B2B Meeting Event” was hosted by our Association in cooperation with the Tourism Office of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul on Wednesday, October 2.
Our Board Member Yıldırım Taş, Boğaziçi Regional Represantation Board President Yüksel Türemez, Trakya Regional Represantation Board President Egemen Aydın, Outgoing Tourism Specialization President Kemal Ertem, Fatih Regional Represantation Board Vice President Okan Cem Başusta, participated in the event where we hosted the Consul General of Greece in Istanbul Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras and Greece National Tourism Office Turkey Director Dimitra Bampali.
Our Board Member Yıldırım Taş, Consul General of Greece in Istanbul Ambassador Konstantinos Koutras and Greece National Tourism Office Turkey Director Dimitra Bampali made opening speeches at the event, and Petros Kiriakidis, Deputy Head of Alexandroupolis Municipality Tourism Unit, Athanasios Papadimitriou, Head of Tourism and Culture Department of the Regional Office for Western Macedonia, Xaralambos Sofroniadis, Tourism Manager of the Regional Office for Eastern Macedonia and Trakya, and Marianna Liaskou, Tourism Manager of the Regional Office for Central Greece, made presentations to introduce the tourism potential in certain regions of Greece and the country's dynamics in various tourism segments.
Following the presentations, our agencies held B2B meetings with the authorities of 4 different regions.
After the event, Turkish and Greek agencies came together at a dinner organized by the Tourism Office of the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul.
We would like to thank all participants and wish that the relations between the two countries will continue to increase.
