GREEK CONSULATE GENERAL IN ISTANBUL TOURISM ATTACHE MARIA RACHMANIDOU VISITS OUR TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE

Maria Rachmanidou, Tourism Attaché of the Greek Consulate General in Istanbul, visited our TÜRSAB Central Offiice. She held talks aimed at developing tourism relations between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by our Board Member Yıldırım Taş, our Trakya Regional Representation Board President Egemen Aydın, and our Director of Specialization Presidencies and Corporate Events Ceylan Yiğiterhan.

The current state of the tourism sector between Türkiye and Greece, potential areas of cooperation, and recent developments in the sector were discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on mutual destination promotion activities between the two countries.

To make Greece's summer and winter tourism potential more visible, the organization of destination promotion events and B2B meetings under the umbrella of TÜRSAB was discussed. Ideas were exchanged regarding the organization of mutual promotional trips and the simplification of visa processes.
