HUNGARIAN AMBASSADOR VIKTOR MATIS HOSTED TÜRSAB VICE PRESIDENT HASAN EKER AT HIS RESIDENCE

Hungarian Ambassador Viktor Matis welcomed TÜRSAB Vice President Hasan Eker at his residence. During the gracious invitation, tourism relations between Türkiye and Hungary and opportunities for sectoral cooperation were discussed.

During the meeting, ideas were exchanged on increasing mutual tourism between the two countries, and visa procedures were also discussed. Ambassador Matis emphasized the importance of applying to the first country of destination for Schengen visa applications, stating that the completeness and accuracy of the documents submitted, as well as adherence to the travel plan, are decisive factors in the visa process.

Eker stated that they are open to any cooperation aimed at strengthening the potential in the field of tourism between Türkiye and Hungary and invited Ambassador Matis to the TÜRSAB Central Office.
