ISTANBUL CHARITY COMPETITION MEETING HELD
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Istanbul Governor and Istanbul Children's Foundation President Davut Gül met with philanthropists who support the foundation as part of the Istanbul Charity Competition Meeting.
The program, which was attended by Oya Ebru Küçükel on behalf of our association, was organized by the Istanbul Children's Foundation, which operates under the auspices of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations and the Istanbul Governor's Office, with the participation of Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül and his wife Gülden Gül, district governors, and philanthropists.
During the program, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Istanbul Governor and Foundation President Davut Gül presented certificates of appreciation to philanthropists who made donations through the Istanbul Children's Foundation in the fields of education, health, religious, and social services. The certificate of appreciation presented on behalf of our TÜRSAB Board President, Firuz Bağlıkaya, was received by Oya Ebru Küçükel.
Speaking at the program, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül emphasized the importance they attach to work for children, saying:
"Our priority is children. We have three priorities: our gifted children, our talented children, and our disadvantaged children. None of them is an alternative or a rival to the others; we need to touch each one separately. I would like to thank our President, who leads all our projects, our Minister of Family and Social Services, and all the philanthropists who contributed their efforts."
