MONTHLY MEETING OF THE HEALTH TOURISM SPECIALIZATION DEPARTMENT WAS HELD

The monthly meeting of the Health Tourism Specialization Department was held in a hybrid format on Friday, April 17, at TÜRSAB Central Office, coordinated by the Specialization Department President Şehnaz Atak Askeroğlu. The meeting was attended by the Board Member Özgür Ildır Öksüz, Health Tourism Specialization Vice Presidents Vahit Kerem Demirkan and Gurbet Altay, and members of the Specialization Department.

During the meeting, which addressed agenda items related to the sector’s development, the 2026 domestic and international exhibition calendar and participation processes were detailed. Additionally, ongoing efforts to prepare an educational handbook for travel agencies and intermediary institutions were discussed.

During the meeting, the topic of compiling an inventory of health tourism associations and organizations across Türkiye based on RRB criteria was addressed, and it was emphasized that action would be taken shortly regarding the topics identified in previous meetings. A consensus was reached on continuing sectoral evaluations in the coming period and steadfastly pursuing ongoing projects.
