"MUĞLA HEALTH TOURISM FORUM" HELD UNDER THE COORDINATION OF MUĞLA GOVERNORATE

Under the coordination of the Muğla Governorate, and in cooperation with the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the South Aegean Development Agency, the Muğla Provincial Health Directorate, and the Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Muğla Health Tourism Forum was held to define strategies regarding the current status and future of health tourism. The forum aimed to establish an innovative perspective for health tourism at regional and national levels by bringing together representatives from the public and private sectors.  

Representing our Association, TÜRSAB Board Member Elif Ural participated in the forum and took part as one of the opening speakers alongside Muğla Governor Dr. İdris Akbıyık, Bodrum Chamber of Commerce President Mahmut Serdar Kocadon, Fethiye Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Osman Çıralı, Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Bülent Karakuş, USHAŞ General Manager Behlül Ünver, and HİB Deputy Secretary General Üzeyir Işık.  

During the morning session, speakers provided insights into the current state of health tourism, existing practices, and development potential in this sector. In the afternoon sessions, innovative approaches in health tourism, strategic steps, and integrated service models were discussed. The forum concluded with a Q&A session and closing remarks.
