NANTA, ONE OF NIGERIA'S WELL-ESTABLISHED TOURISM ORGANIZATIONS, PAID A VISIT TO TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE

The delegation of NANTA (National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies), one of the most established tourism organizations in Nigeria, visited TÜRSAB Central Office on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın, Board Member Yıldırım Taş, Foreign Tourism Specialization President Kemal Ertem, Incoming Tourism Specialization President Orhan Sancar and our accompanying TÜRSAB committee attended the meeting where important meetings were held to improve tourism relations between the two countries.

The delegation, headed by NANTA National President Folami Sabitu Olayinka, included senior executives and representatives of the association as well as THY Lagos Sales Operations Manager Mr. Abdulhakim Çakar. The delegation emphasized that Turkey is an important destination for Nigerian tourists and expressed their belief that the easing of the current visa procedures will significantly increase the number of visitors.

During the meeting, it was agreed to organize mutual promotional trips in order to increase the tourism potential between the two countries. Turkish Airlines is planned to play an active role in this process. The Nigerian side also stated that their efforts to promote the country's tourism in international fairs have yielded positive results and that they would like to establish closer cooperation with Turkey in this field.

This important visit is of great importance in terms of laying the foundations for a strong cooperation between Turkey and Nigeria based on the tourism sector.
