ON THE SECOND DAY OF THE 3RD TÜRSAB TOURISM CONGRESS, THE PANEL OF "THE IMPORTANCE OF SECURITY IN TOURISM" WAS HELD

On the second day of the 3rd TÜRSAB Tourism Congress held at Antalya Gloria Golf Resort with the motto of “Education, Communication and Solidarity”, with the intense participation of our travel agencies and sector representatives, the panel on “The Importance of Security in Tourism” was moderated by Salih Çene, Past World President of SKAL International.

Münci Karakaya, President of the Board of Directors of MTS Globe Turkey and Burak Tonbul, President of the Board of Directors of Diana Travel shared the current developments in the field of tourism security, security problems encountered in the sector and solution suggestions.

Salih Çene stated that security in tourism can be ensured not only by structural measures but also by combining all processes and added: “In order to achieve good results, we have to think about security, supervision and human factors together.”

Münci Karakaya drew attention to the importance of the balance between price and security in the tourism sector and stated, “If both prices are high and security is not at an adequate level, this situation is not sustainable.”

Burak Tonbul indicated that tourism cannot exist where there is no security and that security policies should be developed in line with the changing dynamics of the tourism sector. Referring to the importance of audits in the digital field, Tonbul stated that TÜRSAB's work on this issue is of great importance for consumers.
