OUR ASSOCIATION HELD A MEETING WITH TÜROB DELEGATION TO DISCUSS SECTORAL ISSUES
On Thursday, August 8, 2024, our Association held a meeting at the Headquarters of the Hotel Association of Turkey (TÜROB) with the TÜRSAB committee to discuss sectoral issues.
At the meeting, our TÜRSAB Committee consisting of TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın, Board Member Oya Ebru Küçükel, Chief Advisor to the President Soner Bacaksız and Corporate Relations Group President Nergis Büyükkınacı met with TÜROB President Müberra Eresin, TÜROB Board Member Nuri Kalyoncu, TÜROB Board Member Mustafa Topaloğlu and TÜROB Secretary General İsmail Taşdemir.
At the meeting, the situation of the sector and the targets for the season were mutually evaluated. Situations that would lead to unfair competition in hotels were discussed and it was promised that they would take action on the issue if they were notified to TÜROB officials. It was emphasized that TÜRSAB and TÜROB will always act in cooperation and solidarity to eliminate the problems experienced in our tourism sector. In addition, the realization of the Tourism Forest project in cooperation with TÜRSAB and TÜROB was discussed.
