OUR “CENTURY OF TOURISM BURDUR” EVENT CONTINUED ITS SECOND DAY WITH VISITS TO THE ANTIQUE CITIES OF KIBYRA AND SAGALASSOS AFTER BALLOON TOURS
Our “Tourism Century Burdur” event continued its second day with balloon tours followed by visits to Kibyra and Sagalassos Ancient Cities.
DEIK President Mr. Nail Olpak, who is from Burdur, came together with our young people in Kibyra Ancient City hosted by Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Rector of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, gave a lecture on “Commercial Diplomacy” and shared his experiences.
Afterwards, Kibyra Ancient City was visited. Head of Excavation Prof. Dr. Şükrü Özdoğru and Historian Pelin Batu gave information about the archaeological excavations in the region and the Ancient City.
With this project, we have taken an important step for our travel agencies to see the unique beauties of Burdur closely and present them to their guests. As TÜRSAB, we continue our efforts to spread tourism to 12 months and 81 provinces by emphasizing the high value-added tourism products of our country, and to bring tourists with high spending potential to our new destinations.
